Developed in 2004, the VisualBoyAdvance (VBA) is a popular emulator for the Nintendo GameBoy Color and Advance hand-held video game consoles. The emulator allows you to play GameBoy games on Windows, Linux and Apple Macintosh operating systems. One such game is Pokemon Sapphire (also known as Pokemon Ruby) which was released in 2002. The game has a special item called an Eon infinity ticket that once activated, allows the player"s character to travel to Southern Island. The rare ticket was initially only available at Nintendo promotional events, but can still be obtained with a special cheat device called Gameshark.

Stock up on as many items as you can carry before you try to obtain and activate the Eon ticket. You can arrive only once at Southern Island, where you will fight the bird-like dragon creature Latias (Ruby version) or Latios (Sapphire version).

Maneuver your character to the Petalburg Pokemon Center and talk to the person to the right of the PC. Tell him your profile when prompted and wait for the "Strange Happening" menu to appear.

Use your Gameshark device and type code 0332305F41A5F851 to trigger the Nintendo in-game promotional event. Wait a few seconds and then enter code F444CA88ABDFE871 to obtain the Eon ticket.

Activate your Eon ticket by disabling the second code. To do this, place the ticket in the PC next to the man then remove it; the ticket should now appear in your key item pocket.

Go to Lilycove Harbor. Attempt to board the S. S. Tidal; you will speak to a woman, and then a sailor with take you on his boat to the Southern Island.

Climb the stairs when you arrive at the Southern Island and make your way to the island"s interior. Click on the green item at the center of the area, and Latias or Latios will descend for you to fight.
